South Oak Park Blvd Rehabilitation

Wallace Group provided construction management, inspection, and testing services for the project which included pavement rehabilitation of South Oak Park Boulevard in the City of Grover Beach between Grand Ave to Mentone Ave. The work included over 16,000 square yards of full depth reclamation – cement (FDR-C) and over 3,000 tons of hot mix asphalt, which also included new concrete curb ramps, adjusting existing utilities, and thermoplastic striping. A large part of what contributed to the project’s success was that traffic was maintained at all times with a single lane in each direction and impacts significantly reduced by implementing a detailed work staging plan.
