Wallace Group, a California Corporation (“Wallace Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and disclose personal information when you visit wallacegroup.us (the “Site”), and the choices available to you.

This policy covers the Site only. It does not cover professional services we provide under a separate contract, or third-party websites we link to.

2. Personal information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the Connect form, we collect:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Company name (if provided)
• Phone number (if provided)
• The contents of your message

We use a hidden honeypot field to help detect and reduce spam. The honeypot field is not used for any other purpose.

If you email us (for example info@wallacegroup.us or hr@wallacegroup.us), or call an office or team member listed on the Site, we collect whatever you choose to provide.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the Connect form or ordinary email.

Job openings displayed on the Site are listings only unless otherwise stated. If you apply for a position by contacting Human Resources, we may collect the information you provide, such as:

• Contact information
• Résumé or curriculum vitae
• Employment and education history
• Professional qualifications
• References and other information included in your correspondence.

Employment inquiry information is used to evaluate and respond to potential candidates. Additional privacy disclosures may be provided during the application or recruitment process.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and service providers may log:

• Browser type and version
• Device and operating system
• Pages viewed and interactions with the Site
• Referring and exit URLs
• Date and time of activity
• Online identifiers and Approximate general location derived from an IP address.

We do not use the Site to collect precise geolocation information.

When analytics cookies are on (see Cookies below), Google Analytics also collects similar usage data to help us understand how visitors find and use the Site.

Embedded media

Some pages include YouTube or Vimeo videos. Those players are provided by Google or Vimeo. If you play a video, those companies may collect information according to their own policies. YouTube embeds on this Site use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode where possible.

3. How we use personal information

We use the information above to:

• Respond to inquiries and provide the information you requested
• Communicate with you about your inquiry
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
• Understand Site traffic and usage, when analytics is permitted

We do not use information collected through the Site to send marketing newsletters unless we separately request and obtain any consent required by law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as “sharing” is defined under California law.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described below. You can change your choices at any time via Cookie settings in the Site footer, or the preferences link in our cookie banner.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Site to work securely and remember your cookie choices. They include our consent cookie (wallace_cookie_consent). You cannot turn these off through the banner.

Analytics cookies

We load Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and how people find and use the Site (for example, which pages are visited). Google may process this data in the United States. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn them off anytime via Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that as a request to opt out of analytics.

Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to browse the Site or submit the contact form.

Other third-party technologies

The Site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Image delivery may use a content delivery network (Imgix / Amazon CloudFront). These providers may process technical data such as IP address as part of delivering the page. They are not used to serve ads on the Site.

5. How we disclose personal information

We share information only as needed to run the Site and respond to you:

• Email delivery — Contact form messages are sent using Mailgun so we can receive and reply to them.
• Website hosting and infrastructure — Hosting, storage, and image-processing providers that help us operate the Site.
• Analytics — Google, unless you have opted out of analytics cookies.
• Video providers — YouTube or Vimeo, if you play an embedded video.
• Professional advisers and legal requirements — If required by law, or to protect Wallace Group, our co-workers, or others.
• Government authorities and legal recipients: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or property.
• Parties involved in a business transaction: Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

The Site links to our profiles on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and may link to a file-transfer service. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

Following a link may allow the third party to collect information about you. Those organizations have their own privacy policies and practices. Wallace Group does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or services.

A link does not necessarily mean that Wallace Group endorses the third party’s privacy or security practices.

6. How long we reatain personal information

• Contact form submissions are emailed to our team and stored in our website CMS for up to 24 months after submission. Related email correspondence and business records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for business-record, legal, contractual, or dispute-resolution purposes.
• Employment inquiries: Employment inquiry information is retained according to our recruiting and records-retention practices and applicable legal requirements.
• Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Aggregated reporting information may be available for a longer period.
• Consent cookie is stored to remember your privacy preferences remains on your browser until it expires or you delete.
• Security logs: Server, access, and security logs are retained for a period reasonably necessary to maintain Site security, investigate incidents, and meet operational or legal requirements.
• Backups: Backup copies may remain for a limited period after information is removed from an active system before being overwritten according to our backup schedule.
  

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No website or email transmission is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information (for example Social Security numbers or financial account numbers) through the contact form.

No website, information system, or email transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use care when deciding what information to send through the Connect form or ordinary email.

If you believe information submitted through the Site may have been compromised, contact us using the information in Section 1.
