Paso Robles Golden Hill Rd/Union Rd Roundabout was awarded 1st Place as the APWA 2023 Project of the Year
The Paso Robles Golden Hill Rd/Union Rd Roundabout was awarded 1st Place as the APWA 2023 Project of the Year for Transportation Projects less than $5M category! Capital Projects Engineer Ditas Esperanza led the City’s efforts with Wallace Group leading the design of this innovative safety and congestion relief project. Earth Systems assisted in both design and construction support with the Cannon providing construction management and Granite leading the construction team. This is a wonderful project that showcases how roundabouts can be designed to both enhance quality of life and accommodate large trucks, in this case a 108’ long low boy!
