Kari Wagner, Keynote Speaker at the 34th Annual Chi Epsilon Pacific District Conference
Wallace Group’s Principal Kari Wagner was provided the opportunity to be the keynote speaker for the 34th annual Chi Epsilon Pacific District Conference, which was hosted by Cal Poly SLO. Chi Epsilon is the honor society for the civil engineering professionals. This organization is made up of students in the top third of their college and must be invited to be part of the organization. Students from nine colleges on the Pacific coast including Hawaii attended this conference that focused on career development, networking, and leadership skills. Kari spoke about her lessons learned throughout her career of being a civil engineer. Kari noted, “Being the keynote speaker at a in person banquet after the year these students have endured and to know that this room is the future of our profession was an honor and privilege. The students that attended this conference are the best of the best and I just hope that my experiences and advice will provide inspiration to challenge themselves to strive for greatness.”
