Wallace Group is a proud member of the following organizations:

LEED, LEED AP

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria. LEED is a third-party certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings’ performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

USGBC

As a member of the USGBC, Wallace Group is a part of one of the largest communities of professionals all with the shared goal of creating a healthy living environment for all inhabitants and resources. The U.S. Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation.

C4

WG has been active in the creation of this local chapter of the USGBC. Bianca Koenig, Communication Sub-Committee Chair, was instrumental in the start-up of the chapter, and Ann Sever, SLO County Membership Chari, and Scott Bruce, Vice President of Advocacy and Board Member, have recently joined in the effort to promote environmentally responsible building and design. Mission Statement: As a regional conduit for sustainable design our mission is to facilitate collaboration and be a unified voice for the tri-county California Central Coast region, to preserve and improve a unique quality of life and to promote a healthy and prosperous environment.
